Sanctuary works with the other products in this category to give very robust, complete protection...
- PatchLink seamless, to allow only authorized executables
- NetClarity's Auditor to keep you updated on any "holes" not addressed by PatchLink
- SafeBoot to ensure both endpoint device and encryption policies and,
- The Lexar Drive will ensure you get hardware-level encryption of the data on that drive
Control Endpoint Devices and Applications
The Whitelist Approach
The problem with anti-virus/malware programs and hardware is that they must be constantly updated with what is disallowed.
SecureWave Sanctuary says: "list everything that is allowed, and we will deny access to everything and everyone NOT on the list". It's really that simple ... and is the reason that it is so effective! Sanctuary flips traditional security solutions on their heads by focusing on what is allowed instead of what is not.
Sanctuary Device Control
- Controls and manages any I/O devices through any ports including USB, Firewire, WIFI, Bluetooth, etc.
- Prevents data theft / data leakage
- Prevents malware introduction via removable media
- Audits I/O Device usage
- Blocks Keyloggers (both PS2 and USB)
- Encrypts removable media
- Enables Regulatory Compliance
Sanctuary's Whitelist approach when coupled with your device control policies allows administrators to rapidly identify devices and then assign permissions at a high level or all the way down to specific application per users, user groups or even a particular computer. Policies are also enforced by time constraints, encryption, volume of data, data transfer and much more criteria. Sanctuary links device policies to user and user group information.
Sanctuary Application Control
Because Administrators define what applications can be executed and ONLY those are allowed to execute, Sanctuary:
- Protects all endpoints against zero-day, malware, spyware, keyloggers, Trojans, rootkits, worms and viruses
- Eliminates the reliance on tedious anti-virus subscription updates to secure your business
- Enforces software license compliance, Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA and GLBA and many other regulatory requirements
- Enables application monitoring to avoid propagation of illegal, malicious or unwanted code on your endpoints
- Prevents unauthorized application use throughout your organization (including user downloads like toolbars, etc.)
- Allows you to test and plan patch deployment with no rush
If you are using devices with XPe (Windows Embedded) and WEPOS (Windows Embedded for Point of Service) -- Sanctuary can be used on them also.
