How would you feel and what would the impact be if you lost your thumb drive? Lexar Safe PSD S1100 protects the data stored on it and it protects the owner of the data...individual or corporation. The Security Breach Law notifications apply to data on thumb drives as well.
The S110 gives the user no choice. Data MUST be encrypted ...at the AES/Hardware level. The drive is not seen, and no drive letter assigned in Windows Explorer until the correct password is entered. And there are NO hints and NO backdoor. Forget the password and, unless you have a backup, the data is gone!
Brute force hacking is an effort in futility — after a minimal number of attempts, the drive must be removed and reinserted!
Each 1MB or 2MB drive has a unique serial number and a digital asset tag for enterprise manageability.
